In september i went to the lovely Blenheim Palace in oxford to see the set of friends tv show.
Here is a picture of central perk the cafe from friends. For Somme day I grabbed my camera and went out to a local poppy field where i took some photo's. It was a really nice sunny evening so i managed to get some great pictures. On the 1st July I spent the day creating a new logo for my business and this is what I came up with:
In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row, That mark our place; and in the sky The larks, still bravely singing, fly Scarce heard amid the guns below. We are the dead. Short days ago We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow, Loved and were loved, and now we lie In Flanders fields. Take up our quarrel with the foe: To you from failing hands we throw The torch; be your to hold high. If ye break faith with us who die We shall not sleep, through the poppies grow In Flanders fields. John McCrae, May 1915 In memory of all those who lost their lives in the battle of the Somme on the 1st July 1916; we salute you. CotswoldsJune this year i went all around the Cotswolds photographing some of my favourite locations and here are some photos that i took. Some of the locations i went to was:
Stratford-upon-Avon Bourton on the water Burford Oxford Minster Badbury Had a laugh photographing three little kittens with my mobile home studio, I managed to get some great images using my apple crate which i think made the photo's.
Had an amazing day photographing this lovely fun couple which made up for the weather. We started off at Witney registry office where the ceremony took place and then we ventured out into the rain to minster Lovell where luckily we managed to have a beak from the rain. I had the great opportunity of being able to capture some wonderful fun pictures in the VW camper van courtesy off Silk & Satin - Wedding VW higher and then we went to the minster ruins where i captured some amazing pictures capturing the whole family and the ruins. I then went to the Bride & Groom's house in the evening where they held a buffet and had live music. Such an amazing day glad they chose me as their photographer. I was asked to photograph a fun medieval night at the Aston Pottery where all the guests dressed up and had a Bowl of pottage served in wooden bowls with wooden spoons and had traditional pudding.
There was traditional music and a magician shown in the picture below. |
